How to make a Dr. Gregory House costume
Dr. Gregory House is the catankerous doctor at Princeton Plainsboro Hospital on the television show “House.” He has an uncanny knack for finding out what’s wrong with a patient, even under the strangest of circumstances. He has a limp resulting from a motorcycle accident and recently kicked a dependency on vicodin to cope with the pain. Oh, yeah… And he’s unapologetically blunt with all of his staff and superiors.
##Things You’ll Need##

* Blue button down shirt
* Black t-shirt
* Tweed blazer
* Acrylic paint
* paint brush
* OPTIONAL prescription pill bottle
##Putting together your Dr. Gregory House costume##
Step 1: To get House’s salt-and-pepper hair, spray a little bit of grey spray-in hair color on a comb and streak it through your own hair.
Step 2: Use your brown eyeliner pencil to stipple on stubble along your jawline and upper lip.
Step 3: Put on a black t-shirt beneath a blue button-down oxford shirt, leaving three or four buttons undone.
Step 4: Leave your shirts untucked over a pair of denim jeans.
Step 5: Put on a pair of well-worn sneakers.
Step 6: Swing on a tweed blazer. If you don’t have one, they’re easy to find in men’s stores or even thrift shops.
Step 8: Drape a stethoscope around your neck.
Step 7: OPTIONAL: Tuck a prescription bottle into the lapel pocket of your blazer.
Step 8: Grab a walking cane in basic black. Use acrylic paints in yellow, orange, and red to paint flames at the base of it, like House’s own cane.
Step 9: Brush up on your snappy retorts to stupid questions and general snark!
