There is a lot of buzz this week around a Ghostbusters movie sequel and it looks like it’s on its way for sure!

What do we know? one thing for sure: two writers from The Office (US) television show have been hired but not word yet if the original actors might be reunited “The four original Ghostbusters - Murray and Aykroyd along with Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson - will be formally approached when the script is complete”…

Want to debate on which actors will be the new Ghostbusters? That cast would be the bomb!

One my favorite graphic novels as a kid was Tintin.

Maybe of you might not know Tintin, but in Europe and especially in French speaking countries Tintin is pretty big. Hergé, a Belgium writer, was the creator of Tintin and I am certain that he would really excited to know that Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson are working on a Tintin movie!

There were 100s of novels I can remember. I know my mom kept the all collection, I should count how many there were. Making one movie is good, but if they find success on the first attempt, then they should make a bunch of movies!

The next few years are going to be really exciting not only for Hollywood and the movie aficionados out there, but for the Halloween costume industry as well. From these movies will come out new, redesigned costumes as well as something that has been becoming a lot more popular the past few years, high quality costumes like the Heritage collection costumes.

This would be a shocker, I am ready to bet that it won’t happen but I have to report about it! So it appears that Cher has some interest in becoming Catwoman in the next Batman movie… as you can see, many news websites reported it. Is it April 1st yet?

There is no way a movie director would cast Cher in the next Catwoman role, I am really sorry but that can’t and won’t happen. No disrespect to Cher, but her time has past in the movie industry, well at least for any major role in a Blockbuster super hero movie. I can’t imagine her doing any of the crazy fighting scenes we’ve seen in the two latest Batman movies, she’s going to hurt herself! And, was Catwoman not supposed to be in her late 20s, early 30s anyway?

Interesting. For a couple of days now, we heard and read several reports that Indiana Jones and The Joker costumes are already running out at stores…and we’re only August 25th, exactly 2 months before the last rush of online Halloween costume purchases!

You’ve probably seen the Joker costume idea rank #1 on CostumZee for weeks now, and that was expected. Indiana Jones costumes ranked early this year in June as #1, but it couldn’t fight The Dark knight and The Joker costumes.

Sad news for all the Harry Potter fans out there. The new Harry Potter movie “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” which was ready for theaters Nov. 21. has suddenly been delayed by the studio for an opening next year on July 17th. What are the reasons behind these? Well several. You can blame it on the Hollywood writers’ strike last Winter, but there is actually more to this decision.

It seems apparent that movies that come out during the Summer break sales records (last summer’s “Order of the Phoenix” is the second-highest grossing Potter film) as Batman The Dark Knight has proven this year.
