Things are running hot and heavy across the nation as we the people wait with baited breath to see which Democrat and Republican will emerge victorious to lead their parties in the 2008 Presidential Election. As difficult as a decision it will be to vote for the best candidate to sit atop the party ticket, the hottest ticket in town revolves around every move and political promise of the respective candidates.

An equally hot costume trend this year may just be a caricature-styled mask depicting the front runners for the highest office in the land. So far, the only candidate with her own latex mask is former First Lady Hillary Clinton. Should Hillary get the nod from her party, there are also masks of former President and potential First Husband, Bill Clinton.

“It’s astounding! Time is fleeting! Madness takes its toll!” Over 27 years later, The Rocky Horror Picture Show maintains a fan following so rabid that the film refuses to be merely contained to DVD or the silver screen. Sure, you can check out the cult classic on DVD or at various midnight showings still staged throughout the country. However, the only way to truly see The Rocky Horror Picture show is at a costumed showing, acted out by the fans in tandem with the actual film shown on screen.

All over the country, fans turn out in droves, dressed in full costume regalia as their favorite characters from the film. A select few participate as leads by acting out the roles of the principal characters, but the entire audience takes part interacting with the film. From chucking toast at the screen when “A toast!” is called for to doing The Time Warp out of their seats, everyone becomes a part of the wild and wooly festivities.

Judging by the 5.4 million viewers who tuned in to see Poison frontman Bret Michaels pick a new girlfriend on Rock of Love, it’s safe to say that celebrity reality theme shows are quite popular. The celebreality show’s Season 1 finale drew the second-highest rating ever for VH1 in the history of the cable channel.

I am a big time cycling fan. I follow pro races year-around, thanks to Versus, Cycling.tv and other online media channels.

A few days ago, while watching the 8th stage on TV, I suddenly witnessed one of the most memorable moment on the Tour Let me explain something: you see, it’s really common that cycling supporters run next to ‘idols’ during mountina stages. First, because they are really excited to see them, second, because it is really hot up there and all most fans have is beer and wine, and third, that’s probably the slowest speed the pros go in any race, so you have a small chance to keep up for a few seconds

Fans usually wear flags on their shoulders, or funny outfits, getting their 10 seconds of fame in front of millions of people watching TV live. Fun stuff.

We love Paris Hilton, really, she is a pretty girl, seems naive :), but she’s a nice girl for sure. Poor Paris is spending a little bit of time in jail for some trouble she got into several months ago. Kids out there, please don’t drink and drive and, drive with a license!

Anyway, let’s be honest about it, Halloween being only 4 months away, the idea of a Paris Hilton jail costume came up in our mind. Bad taste, yes maybe, but funny…and there are way worse Halloween costume ideas…like the Michael Jackson costume and mask…ouch!
