The Cirque du Soleil (check out the link to see where the show is playing around the US…totally worth it!) is a Canadian circus show, from Quebec, but not your typical circus show. They do not use animals that much, nor clowns, but they find the most incredible circus artists/performers around the world and blend unique decors and music to create the best circus show in the world.
The Cirque du Soleil directors update the show on yearly basis: AlegrÃa, Quidam, Dralion, Varekai, Cortéo and the most recent KOOZÃ… are all incredibly amazing shows.
A few stores offer Cirque du Soleil costumes this year, and we really think it would make a really unique couple costume for this Halloween 2007. So don’t wait, check out the Cirque du Soleil costumes today because the inventory might not last!

Forget “that much.” Cirque du Soleil does not use animals AT ALL in any of its shows. That is a company policy. Regarding clowns, you probably are thinking they do not have the traditional clown that does some cute tricks for little kids. They do use the word clown, however, so it is not like they rarely have clowns on the stage (or in the air). One more thing: As written, you appear to describe Cirque du Soleil as a show title, not the company name, before naming some of the shows they perform.
Cirque du Soleil (which uses the acronym CDS on some web pages) is worth every penny for the best seat in the Big Top or arena. They are so good at costume-making I often couldn’t tell if the character was a man or woman! Their costumes are one reason CDS is by far the best circus company anywhere.
