Burger King Costumes
The Burger King commercials which started in 2005 caused a huge amount of demand for “The King” costumes. What has become their advertising mascot, the King, started out as sort of a joke. The “Wake up with the King” campaign where a scary guy in a plastic mask would be in bed with you in the morning freaked me out a little bit.
As part of the marketing campaign, Burger King’s PR company sold the King masks on their bkmasks.com website. It doesn’t appear that they’re available any more.
The best chance now to get yourself a coveted king mask and/or costume on Ebay
