About Woody

Woody is a character from the Disney animated film Toy Story. The film was first released in 1995. His character was voiced by Tom Hanks. Also in the film was Buzz Lightyear, played by Tim Allen. The movie begins with Woody being a kid’s favorite toy, but then Buzz comes along and Woody is shelved. Woody and the other toys got along great until Buzz. Buzz then wowed all the other toys, but when Woody lets Buzz fall into the wrong hands the toys have to save him. This makes for a nice friendship between the toys, and a second film later on.

Dressing up as Woody

Woody is a cowboy toy. The costume for Woody is a yellow shirt, blue jeans, white and black vest, cowboy hat, and red bandana. To finish the costume off brown cowboy boots are needed. Woody also carries a fake pistol in his leather belt.
