About Wolf

The wolf is a lone hunter often living in the wild far from civilization. At one time the wolf populations of North America were endangered as they could only be found in Alaska or Canada. Since then wolf populations have been reintroduced to places like Montana, Wyoming, and even Colorado. The wolf is a hunter of small prey like rabbits; however they have also been known to hunt livestock since those animals are easy pickings. The wolf can be gray, white, and even black. They are a kin to dogs, so many have the long snout with sharp canine teeth, medium length fur, and long tails. Wolves tend to be leaner than dogs and have been used to breed with certain species of dogs.
