I have to admit I am a Winnie the Pooh fan, which is where I got my inspiration for a Christmas Winnie the Pooh costume. About Winnie the Pooh
Winnie the Pooh or Pooh Bear as some call him is a fictional character created by A.A. Milne. The character was later recreated in a Disney series that is still being shown today. The book was first released in 1926 and the House at Pooh Corner was released in 1928. There are other characters in the tale that are also very popular. Christopher Robin, Owl, Rabbit, Gopher, Piglet, Kanga and Roo, and Tigger have all been added to the stories to increase the interest of the children. Christopher Robin was named after Milne’s son who names a teddy bear Winnipeg after his father bought it at a London Zoo. This was where the entire idea came from for the tale. Winnie the Pooh is very into honey and often has a honey pot in his hand.
Dressing up as Winnie the Pooh
There are several sizes in the Winnie the Pooh costume from infants up to adults. If you want you can have a whole family dressed as Winnie the Pooh characters with Eeyore, Piglet, and Tigger. The costume prices will vary depending on how elaborate it will be. For Winnie the Pooh you can expect a one piece suit with a yellow bottom and red shirt. The costume will also have a hood with ears to create the bear face. The shirt will normally say Pooh on the front. The costume will also have bear paws for gloves. The only thing left to you is the shoe choice.
