It just wouldn't be a fairy tale without a Wicked Queen. Because without conflict, we'd all be pretty bored, now wouldn't we? In the story of Snow White, the princess with hair as black as night, skin as white as snow, and lips as red as blood was never bored when her Wicked Stempother, the queen attempted to have her killed. The scheming queen was beautiful, yet incredibly vain, wanting to knock off her stepdaughter so that she could once again be the fairest in the land. The Wicked Queen would frequently consult her Magic Mirror for status updates on if she was indeed still the fairest.
