About Whale

Whales are the largest mammal in the oceans around the world. There are several different types of whales from Orcas, Humpback, Blue whale, Beluga, and much more. Whales are often seen as gentle creatures that swim the oceans traveling from one point to the next with migration. The most popular whale has always been the Orca mostly because of the hype with Free Willy and Seaworld. Orcas are one ruler of the ocean as they are meat eaters. They hunt seal and other fish, even on occasion dolphins. The other ways such as the Baleen Whale tend to feed more on plankton. As mammals the whale must come to the surface every so often to get a breath of air.

Dressing up as Whale

There are typically two costumes that you will find in adult and children whale costumes. The first is the Orca. The Orca can be in several different shapes. You can have the child’s costume in which a full Orca is created horizontally so that you are inside the whale. Then there is the Orca costume that you will step inside and be completely whale. This is more of the adult style costume. The Blue whale is going to be like this as well. You have the feet as the tail, the arms as the flippers, a dorsal fin on the back and the head comes over your own in a whale face. Typically these costumes are made from a polyester material to keep you warm. You may also choose the whale hat offering you a simple costume for a budget. Shark and other sea mammals will complete the entire party of marine life if you chose.
