About Wand

A wand is an item used by people and creatures with a tendency towards magic. Wizards, magicians, and fairies are among some of those you'll find using a wand. Usually constructed from a sort of wood that helps to determine the mystical powers that the wand has and works in harmony with its user, the wand helps to channel a person's magic into a concentrated form, leveling the intended spell or wish by pointing at the object in question. In the Harry Potter universe, all young wizards enrolled at Hogwart's school and other magical institutions must be fitted for robes and a wand. The most popular place to get a wand is at Ollivander's in the famous wizard shopping district of Diagon Alley.

Dressing up with a Wand
