valkyrie Costume Ideas
About Valkyries
In ancient Norse legend, the Valkyries were fierce warrior goddesses who rode into battle on flying steeds. Their sacred duty, as charged by Odin, the Norse King of the Gods, was to choose who amongst the falling Viking warriors would gain entrance to Valhalla and who would serve as Odin's personal army when Ragnarok, the final battle known as the Twilight of the Gods, reared its ugly head.
Dressing up as a Valkyrie
