About Tweety Bird
The prized pet of Granny, the little yellow bird with the speech impediment, Tweety Bird lives in a cage. He spends his days avoiding the hungry clutches of Sylvester the Puddytat, a persistent if not intelligent cat with a sputtering lisp. Despite his tiny size, Tweety is crafty and even quite vicious, keeping Sylvester at bay by any means and living another day to sing a little song. Having made his first Warner Brothers cartoon appearance in 1942, Tweety is still one of the most popular of the Warner Bros. cartoon characters.
