About Troy

Troy or Troy Bolton is a fictional person from High School Musical 1, 2, and 3. Troy is the star of the basketball team. In the first film he struggles between his desire to be in the theatre as well as remain a basketball star. Troy sings with Gabrielle during the school’s theatre production, and helps win the championship. In the next movie the two are paired up again for a summer of fun. High School Musical 3 was just released in theatres last year. It was the last of the saga as the teenagers worked towards graduation, while still remaining friends.

Dressing up as Troy

To dress as Troy you will need a red basket ball jersey with white lettering. It should have the number 14 on the front, as well as Troy on the back in the name place. You also need basketball shorts in red. White shoes and a basketball will complete the costume. If it is cold you may consider having a “track suit” in white and red to go over the basketball uniform. There were times in the movie that the white suit was worn over the basketball outfit.
