About Toy Story

One of the most technically innovative computer-animated feature films, Disney/Pixar released "Toy Story" in 1995, with a sequel, "Toy Story 2" in 1999. The films follow the adventures of two action figures in a young boy named Andy's play room. Woody, an old-fashioned cowboy doll anxiously worries that he will be replaced as Andy's favorite toy when the flashy new toy on the block, astro-adventurer Buzz Lightyear arrives on the scene. The two rivals eventually become friends, rescuing one another from destructive kids and other random perils. In Toy Story 3, slated for a June 2010 release, Woody once again must rescue the toys when a now college-bound Andy accidentally gives his old toys to a daycare center instead of storing them in the attic.

Dressing up as Toy Story

Kids and adults of all ages can dress up in colorful costumes based on the zany cast of characters from the Toy Story series of films. Cowboy up as Woody, the occassionally angsty leader always ready to round-up the toys or his friend, the bold adventurer, Buzz Light Year in an astronaut-inspired costume. Ladies can dress as Woody's galpal, Jessie the yodeling cowgirl with a costume similar to that of Woody's. Or, go for some of the loveable secondary characters like Mr Potato Head, Mrs Potato Head, and even Rex the goofy dinosaur!
