Pfft! Who needs licensing!? Tommy Tater is a close cousin of Mr Potato Head, the perennial favorite among childrens' toys that was created by George Lerner and marketed by Hasbro in 1952. The original Potato Head began when Lerner would decorate a standard kitchen potato with other vegetables for eyes, nose, mouth, and other body parts. Swap plastic for produce, and voila! A fun, marketable toy was born!
Dressing up as Tommy Tater
Go from "dud" to "spud" with a clever Tommy Tater costume, the easiest way to turn yourself into a Mr Potato Head type dude!
