About Toad
“Ribbit ribbit” or is it “Croak croak!” Depending on the type of amphibian the sound they make will differ. A toad is just one amphibian that tends to have a deeper voice than your typical frog. Toads belong to the Anura order, and there is a definite difference between a toad and frogs. Toads tend to live in dry habitats and have leathery skin. They can live in swamp areas as well. Most toads are brown for camouflage. Many of the toad species will burrow in the dirt. Toads like frogs have powerful back legs that they can hop with. They also have suckers on the bottom of their feet which help them climb objects. Toads are often larger than frogs.
Dressing up as Toad
Toad costumes come in adult and children’s sizes. You have a couple of choices when it comes to the toad costume. You can grab a Super Mario Toad Costume, to stand alongside Mario and Luigi as you search for the lost princess. This costume offers a white plush mushroom hat with red polka dots. You also have a blue vest with gold trim. Your other option is the toad on a lily pad. This costume is a plush green jumpsuit, with frog like eyes. It’s a great costume for infants. The Lord Toad costume is a bit scarier, with a wrinkly evil face, and rough toad skin.
