Not just an album, not just a song, and not just a video, Michael Jackson's "Thriller" is a cultural landmark. Released in 1982, the album's title cut was a major radio hit that featured horror icon Vincent Price performing an eerie, spoken-word intro and segment, adding to song's already-macabre feel. The video for "Thriller" was directed by John Landis and consistently ranks as the #1 Video of all-time for its creativity and cinematography. Although the song was slightly over five minutes in length, Landis' vision -- complete with extensive werewolf and zombie makeup on Michael Jackson and the rest of the video's cast -- stretched to almost 30 minutes. Additionally, the dance moves in "Thriller" were performed famously in the viral YouTube clip of the Cebu prison inmates in the Phillipines.
