About The Flash

The Flash made his DC Comics debut in 1940 and was written by Gardner Fox and drawn by Larry Hampert. With his superhuman speed, The Flash became a member of both the Justice League and the JSA. Although Jay Garrick was the very first flash with the power to outrace lightning, Barry Allen and Wally West were the two most well-known humans who assumed the mantle of The Flash. For the most part, the title of The Flash stays within a given family. Barry Allen's newphew by marriage was Wally West and Bart Allen, the most recent Flash to die, took over the title from his grandfather, Barry, who recently came back to life to step into his superhero costume once more.

Dresing up as The Flash
