About the Backyardigans

An animated/CGI children's television show that debuted in 2004, The Backyardigans are a group of fun-loving, preschool age animals who play together in a backyard where they have pretend adventures, sing, and dance. The highly imaginative group is comprised of the energetic blue penguin Pablo; Tyrone the mellow orange moose; Uniqua the pink, an unidentifiable creature who is a brainy tomboy; Tasha a happy yellow hippopotamus; and Austin a happy-go-lucky purple kangaroo. Among some of the imaginative adventures these friends have embarked on together include pretending to be pirates, fairy tale characters, ghosts, knights, and even vikings.

Dressing up as the Backyardigans

Available in a range of sizes to fit infants and toddlers are officially licensed Backyardigans costumes. Kids can play along and dress up as their favorite Backyardigan as they go off on their own costumed adventures. Kids can dress up as the imaginative, idea-penguin Pablo or his best friend, Tyrone the moose. Girls can also dress up as the unique, pink Uniqua. Each Backyardigans costume comes complete with a one-piece character jumpsuit with hands and feet, each adorned with fun, character details such as Tyrone's striped sweater and Uniqua's pink overalls. Also included is a character hood that sits atop your child's head and encloses around the back, allowing their face to peek out for maximum visibility.
