A traditional Mexican favorite, the taco has made its way into the hallowed halls of American food, as well. With Taco Bell as one of the leading fast food franchises, everyone has access to a little piece of South of the Border. An authentic Mexican taco is served in a hard tortilla shell and is packed with any type of meat (ground beef is the most commonly used filling) along with cheese, salsa, cilantro, lettuce, and tomato. Guacamole and sour cream may also be served on the side along with some spicy hot sauce or spice in the ground beef. Pass the Old El Paso!
