A surgeon is a medical practitioner whose area of expertise lies within performing delicate operations that involve invasive procedures that can include making incisions in a patient, or administering a treatment that will remove something harmful within the body or help to repair it. A surgeon can be a medical doctor, veterinarian, or even a dentist (called an oral surgeon). A demanding job, these doctors must exact precision, a clear head, and a steady hand to ensure that the procedure goes according to plan.

Dressing as a Surgeon

Scrub up and find yourself costumed like a surgeon (cuttin' for the very first time!). Traditional surgeon costumes feature light green scrubs with a loose fitting top and pants, along with a surgical mask and hair net cap. Add your own stethoscope or medical-themed accessories.
