In the world of DC comics, Superwoman is a name given to various female characters. Most of these women had powers similar to DC’s Superman, like Supergirl. It has also been assumed that Superman’s female decedents would take the name of Superwoman, In another comic book series, Wonder Woman, an evil version of Wonder Woman from a parallel universe was called Superwoman. This Superwoman took after Wonder Woman and not Superman.
