About Superwoman

In the world of DC comics, Superwoman is a name given to various female characters. Most of these women had powers similar to DC’s Superman, like Supergirl. The first Superwoman was Lois Lane, Superman’s love interest, when she dreams a blood transfusion from Superman has given her his powers. Throughout the Superman series, Lois is given temporary gains of power, where she resumes the role of Superwoman. Superwoman also appeared as a character separate from Lois Lane in the Superman series, where Superman travels to a parallel universe where everyone has the opposite gender than they do on Earth. Superwoman is also the name assumed to be taken by Supergirl as an adult. It has also been assumed that Superman’s female decedents would take the name of Superwoman, In another comic book series, Wonder Woman, an evil version of Wonder Woman from a parallel universe was called Superwoman. This Superwoman took after Wonder Woman and not Superman.
