The queen of the Land of the Sweets, the Sugar Plum Fairy performs a famous dance that showcases a delicate and technical prowess of the female ballet dancer who performs it. The equivalent of a "fairy godmother" type, the Sugar Plum Fairy rules over the kingdom and welcomes young Clara and her Nutcracker Prince to this winter wonderland.
