About Storm

Born in Africa and having lived as a street urchin in Egypt, Ororo Munroe was found by Professor Charles Xavier as a young woman. Afraid of enclosed spaces, yet possessing the awesome mutant power of control over the elements and weather, the young woman was taken under the wing of Professor X and made a member of his team of X-Men. Known for her calm, compassionate nature, the woman who would be known as Storm later became the leader of the X-Men and followed in the footsteps of her mentor, training young mutants to use their powers at the Xavier School.

Dressing up as Storm

Command the powers of the winds and rain when you dress up as one of the fiercest females in all of the Marvel universe as Storm. Dress up in officially licensed X-Men costumes from the films with a black jumpsuit with an X-Men insignia and attached cape. If you would prefer to create Storm's classic X-Men costume from the comics, wear an all-white jumpsuit and purchase a white cape separately.

To top it all off, you can wear a Storm wig cut in the fashionable style that Halle Berry wore in the films with flippy ends and an underlying layer of black to give the wig more definition. Or, to capture Storm's classic, comic book look, go for a long white wig to accompany your white jumpsuit costume!
