About Storm Shadow

One of the most popular characters in the G.I. Joe universe, Storm Shadow is a ninja who has a long-standing relationship and rivalry with fellow ninja, Snake Eyes. In the comics and '80s cartoon, Storm Shadow has switched sides between the Joes and Cobra several times, once having served as Cobra Commander's bodyguard and eventually rejoining his blood-brother, Snake Eyes on the G.I. Joe squad. A descendnent of the Arashikage clan with whom he trained, Storm Shadow's real name is Thomas Arashikage. He wears an all-white ninja costume (occassionally sporting the crimson Cobra emblem when he is aligned with that faction) and is of Japanese-American descent when he is unmasked. In the 2009 {G.I. Joe movie}, Storm Shadow still has a rivalry with Snake Eyes and serves as a bodyguard and friend to Destro and The Baroness on the side of Cobra, although he has a strong sense of honor. He is played by Korean martial artist/actor, Lee Byung-hun.

Dressing up as Storm Shadow

Available in childrens' and adult sizes are costumes based on Cobra's very own ninja assassin, Storm Shadow. Each style includes an all-white ninja costume complete with character hood with front facemask panel, leaving only your eyes exposed, a pair of white pants, and a wraparound jacket with attached belt and white inset rashguard-style shirt. Also included are gloves.

Accessorize your look by adding your own red Cobra insignia on the front of your costume (depending on if you're feeling like being a "bad guy" in addition to a "bad ass") and the GI Joe Storm Shadow Sword. Choose two swords, or the version that comes with its own white sheath to match your costume.
