About Spock Ears

Captain James T. Kirk's second-in-command, Spock was half-human and half-Vulcan. Played by Leonard Nimoy on the original Star Trek series, Spock often supressed his emotional human side and operated in a logical, methodical manner in accordance with his reserved Vulcan side. In spite of his unemotional and cool demeanor, Spock is loyal to a fault, often called upon to make tough decisions when the Captain is incapacitated, acting with the best interest of the crew in mind. Although he doesn't readily admit it, Spock values the friendship of all those on the Starship Enterprise's crew.

Dressing up with Spock ears

Perhaps the most defining feature of the fan-favorite character of Spock are his distinctive, pointed Vulcan ears. A characteristing of his alien race, Spock looks otherwise human (although he does carry the Vulcan trait of green blood!). Dress up as the Enterprise's second-in-command with a blue Star Trek uniform shirt, a regulation Star Trek badge marking you as a distinguished member of the United Federation of Planets. Top it off with a short black wig with sharply cut bangs. Live long and prosper!
