About Spidergirl

Spidergirl or Spider- girl is a Marvel Comic character. We are all well aware of Spider man not only in the comics, but also in the movies. Marvel created a female version of spider man in the “What If” comic in 1998. Eventually Spider Girl received her own comic book written by DeFalco. Like Spider Man, Spider Girl has the ability to stick to solid surfaces, repell objects and people. She has superhuman strength, stamina, speed, and great reflexes. The first comic looked at a what if scenario in which Peter Parker was not the one bit by the radioactive spider, Betty Brant was. She then assumes the Amazing Spider Girl identity with a blue corset and red belt. She also has webbing under her arms and across her chest. There have been other versions since this first comic offering a new view on things.

Dressing up as Spidergirl

Spider Girl has a slightly different outfit than Spiderman. It is still a blue and red costume, but spider girl can have either a skirt or pants. The skirt is loose fitting to the knees, with a red webbed shirt and blue long sleeves. The pants are form fitting and have the same red boots. Spider Girl superhero costumes are provided in toddler to teen sizes. There is even a {spiderman 3} like costume for Spider Girl where you can dress in black hose, skirt, and top.
