Sonny Bono and Cherilyn Sarkisian LaPierre, better known as Cher, were among the first hippies with mainstream appeal. Their success in the 1960's and 1970's lead to more than one television show and their record sales top out at over 80 million. People of all ages are familiar with at least one Sonny and Cher duet. "The Beat Goes On" even now after the split of the duo and 1998 death of Sonny Bono.

Cher can be easily portrayed in this rainbow lame tunic and matching bell bottom pants and headband.
