About Snowman
A snowman is a rounded figure created out of snow. The character is anthropomorphic so that it resembles a human. Snowmen are traditional holiday symbols mostly because they are made from snow that falls during that time period. It also gives children something to do while on holiday. Snowmen date back to the Middle Ages where it was noted that townspeople would make snowmen in the streets. To create a snowman one needs the right type of snow. A powdery snow that packs easily is best. The person creating the snowperson will then roll three large balls of varying sizes to stack on each other. Some more artful individuals may provide even more human characteristics to the snowperson like making it look like a person or an angel. The traditional snowman is completely rounded though.
Dressing up as Snowman
Snowman costumes are going to go with the more traditional look. This means a rounded bottom to cover the legs, while moving up to a rounded middle, and then a completely round head. To make the costume more human like buttons are added on the front, with a red scarf, button eyes, button mouth, and a carrot for the nose. To top it off a top hat in black is required. Some snowmen can have arms. You can also have costumes that loose the rounded figure and just provide a suit. There is also the sexy snowwoman costume with a white dress.
