Indiana Jones hates 'em and Adam and Eve probably aren't too fond of these guys, either. The conniving creature that started it all and got the First Couple booted out of Eden and a cousin to the Greek Gorgon, the snake-haired Medusa, snakes are known for their cunning and treacherous nature. These cold-blooded creatures that crawl on their bellies are a force to be reckoned with, even if they don't have arms. Although many snakes are harmless, there are other snakes that are equally poisonous and deadly.
Dressing up as a Snake
For a fearsome look, ladies can cast a come-hither glare that can turn a man to stone with a Medusa costume in shimmering shades of green, gold, and turquoise.
Gentlemen can dress as a fearsome -- or cuddly -- snake with a snakeman costume to cover your head, arms, and legs with either a python-print style costume baring fangs, or a more friendly looking version in green plush.
Take the fright out of the snake's bite with a giant inflatable wraparound snake with its cartoonish features. You can make a costume out of this in and of itself, wrapped in a slithery embrace by a large, green snake.
