About Snake Eyes

"Silent but deadly" is an accurate description for the G.I. Joe squad's very own ninja, Snake Eyes. An expert in hand-to-hand combat, Snake Eyes' past is a mystery. Of what is known of him, he had been trained by the Arashikage ninja clan where he formed a close, brotherly friendship with Storm Shadow, who later went on to join Cobra as the lethal bodyguard for Cobra Commander. Snake Eyes wears an all-black ninja outfit with heavy eye protection built in, differing from the traditional ninja look that shows the warrior's eyes. This is in part due to the serious scars that Snake Eyes has from his mysterious past. He also has a relationship with Scarlet, one of the female members of the G.I. Joe squad. In the 2009 {G.I. Joe} movie, Snake Eyes was abandoned as a young boy and taken in by the Arashikage clan of which Storm Shadow was a young member. He believed Storm Shadow to have killed his master and took a vow of silence and to avenge him. Snake Eyes is played by martial arts master and stuntman, Ray Park in the film.
