About Slyterin

Of the four houses in Hogwarts School of Wizardry, Slytherin is the most reviled and is typically viewed as the house from which most dark wizards come from. Considered to be opportunistic and devious, bent on getting their way no matter what the cost, Slytherin alumni aren't the most beloved amongst their Hogwarts classmates. It's no coincidence that Voldemort and most of his Death Eaters (with the exception of Peter Pettigrew) were Slytherin. The house's colors are dark green and grey and Slytherin's animal representative is a snake -- again, not the most warm and fuzzy of animals or reptiles, either!
