About Shrek
Shrek is an Ogre that gets caught in a rescue scenario like other fairytales. In fact the first film released in 2001 was more of a spoof regarding fairy tales. An ogre rather than princess charming rescues the princess from a tower, who has been cursed to look like an ogre in the evenings. There were a great many spoofs in the film and the subsequent films. Shrek rescues Princess Fiona, but is not a very kind person. Then he falls in love with the princess and they marry. In the second film Shrek has issues with being a part of royalty when he is not accepted for Fiona’s husband. During that film with the help of donkey and a cat Shrek turns himself into a man and pledges to stay that way for Fiona. The third film wasn’t as great as the first two. Shrek wanted to renounce the thrown so he went in search of a successor in the correct line.
