All of us pieced our costumes together from either GoodWill, or searches on Ebay. The only person that actually purchased the costume was our Scooby (Marcus). Fred's costume was all found at Savers, his wig was purchased at a Halloween USA. Shaggy's wig was also purchased at Halloween USA, the rest of his clothes were his own. About Shaggy
Scooby Doo 3 is the third movie, also known as The Beginning. The movie is set to release in theatres sometime in 2009. The full cast from earlier Scooby Doo movies will be in the new movie. This means Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr, Matthew Lillard, Linda Gardellini, and Neil Fanning will all be a part of the movie. There has not been much released regarding the movie’s plot, just that Mystery Inc. is back to battle more monsters and criminals. Shaggy is just one of the many characters that belongs to Mystery Inc. Shaggy tends to be a scared individual in cases, right along with Scooby Doo. They tend to run when the going gets a little tough. Shaggy has a bit of a scratchy voice, and is always in the same type of clothing.
Dressing up as Shaggy
Since there are a host of characters as a part of the cartoon concept you have Scooby Doo, Velma, Daphne, and Fred to dress as. For Scooby Doo you can expect children’s and adult sized costumes patterned after the brown dog with a couple of black spots. The costume comes complete with a Scooby Doo hood and blue collar. For other costumes you may find Daphne has a purple 70’s dress with knee high boots. Velma costumes are typically with orange turtleneck and red skirt. For Shaggy you can expect the green tee shirt with brown pants. The Shaggy costume usually requires a blonde wig with fake hair on the chin and upper lip. Some of the costumes can even come with masks to give the appropriate face and hair.
