About Baseball

Since, 1869, baseball has been considered the sport to play and watch in America. The U.S. has been raised watching baseball and couldn't even do without it during WW2, thus employing women to take up the bats and balls. Although considered America's pastime, baseball is watched and played in many other countries, such as Cuba, Italy, and even Taiwan. So, all over the world and in ever imaginable language, one can hear the announcers proclaim, "Play ball!"
