About Seven Dwarfs

The Seven Dwarfs are characters from a fairy tale created in Germany. The first publication was created by the Brothers Grimm. The tale was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The fairy tale was very popular from the very beginning despite its rather horrific bent. It was in 1937 that Disney offered an animated version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. In the animated version the Dwarfs were finally given names. The fairy tale before that had not named the Dwarfs. The tale of course is similar. You have an evil queen wanting to be the most beautiful, but finds Snow White in her way. She sends many to kill her, but doesn’t succeed instead all she can do is put the beauty to sleep in which the Prince must rescue her. The Seven Dwarfs are named Dopey, Sneezy, Doc, Bashful, Happy, Grumpy, and Sleepy.

Dressing up as Seven Dwarfs

You have seven costumes to choose from in the Disney Classic. Depending on your favorite Dwarf you might need large ears with a purple hat and green shirt. You might need a large nose and red tunic with brown pants. There are plenty of options for dressing as the Seven Dwarfs. You have adult and children’s costumes that will fit into anyone’s budget.
