About Schoolgirl

A schoolgirl is someone in primary or secondary school. Typically the title schoolgirl is given to anyone four to eighteen that goes to school. Some schools that girls attend may require a uniform. In Japan uniforms are the norm for students; however, in the US there are very few schools that have instituted the need for uniforms. Many of these schools that do have them are private. A study recently showed that schoolgirls tend to get better grades than schoolboys, but their test scores are generally lower.

Dressing up as Schoolgirl

As we mentioned some schools require uniforms which is where we get the schoolgirl costume. Most of the schoolgirl costumes will have a British or Sexy appearance to them. In Britain it is more likely that students will have to wear uniforms. The dress code is generally a white blouse, with plaid skirt, and sweater or jacket to match. A sexy schoolgirl outfit might have knee high socks to match the skirt. Shoes are typically black. Remember if you are going as a schoolgirl you might want to have a schoolboy to complete a couples costume.
