About Rorschach
One of the most complex characters in Alan Moore's graphic novel Watchmen translated to film by Zack Snyder is that of the vigilante, Rorschach. Named for the famous psychological test that determines the mental state of its subjects by what they perceive an abstract ink blot to be, Rorschach's mask concealing his identity changes according to his mood, becoming an ever-morphing series of ink blots. Slightly disturbed, Rorschach never quite lets go of his superhero/masked vigilante status long after the government declares them illegal.
