About Ron Weasley

Ron Weasley is a character from J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series. Ron is Harry Potter’s best friend along with Hermione Granger. Together the three spend 7 years fighting against Lord Voldemort in various ways. Ron Weasley is one of seven children, and the last boy of the family. He has a younger sister, Ginny, who came to Hogwarts a year after Harry and Ron. Ginny is very enamoured with Harry. Ron Weasley comes from a loving family, but they are not the richest. Two of his older brothers had already graduated Hogwarts, but Percy, George, and Fred. Fred and George are twins and very devious in jokes. The entire Weasley clan is all red haired with freckles. Ron at times feels jealous of Harry because of the money and attention he receives, but those moments are fleeting.

Dressing up as Ron Weasley

To dress as Ron Weasley you will need a Hogwarts robe and scarf. You will also need a white dress shirt, tan pants, Hogwarts tie, and a wand. Other accessories can be a maroon sweater with an “R” sewn on the front. A pet rat, Scabbers, can also accompany the costume. Other choices in costumes are Harry Potter, Hermione, Snape, Lord Voldemort, Albus Dumbledore, and Draco Malfoy.
