The titular character of the Sylvester Stallone series of movies, Rocky Balboa was a humble Philadelphia boxer who rose from poor beginnings to the heights of fame in the boxing ring. A modern, American saga, the Rocky's story chronicles a man's journey from rags to riches, to rags again, and the struggle to come up out of it for a second time. Trained by the loveable curmugeon, Mickey, Rocky's greatest battles were against Apollo Creed, who later became his best friend. And of course, who could forget Adrian, Rocky's wife who he bellowed a "Yo, Adrian!!!" from the ring upon his victory!
