The most powerful man in any given sport, the referee enforces the rules of the game, no matter what it is. Easily visible by his black-and-white striped uniform, be it football, basketball, wrestling, or hockey -- the referee calls the shots. (Unless you're talkin' baseball, in which a referee is known as an "umpire.") The referee, sometimes known as the "ref" for short, has the difficult task of breaking up fights between players and making decisions on plays that affect the outcome of the game. He decides if the players have been adhering to the rules of the game, and if not, judges what penalty the player and/or team is assessed.

Dressing up as a Referee

Available in men's and women's sizes and styles, a referee costume puts you right in the center of the action! The men's version of the referee costume comes complete with a black-and-white striped pullover shirt, a black cap, and whistle to drape around your neck.
