About Ralph Kramden

Ralph Kramden is the lead character on the 1955 classic television comedy, "The Honeymooners." Originally a character portrayed by comedian Jackie Gleason on his own variety show, the roly-poly, easily aggravated New York City bus driver received his own show, which ran for 39 original episodes and later on, a trove of "lost" episodes of the half-hour series were discovered. Ralph was married to his long-suffering, yet sarcastic wife Alice. Fiesty, outspoken, yet loving, Alice would put up with Ralph's schemes to get rich. Ralph's frequent partner in these schemes was bumbling neighbor Ed Norton. In the series, Alice often voiced her disapproval -- along with comments about Ralph's weight. In spite of Ralph threatening to send Alice "Bang... Zoom! To the moon!" in his fits of rage, Ralph and Alice truly loved each other and stuck with one another through the lean years. At his core, Ralph Kramden was a kind-hearted individual, although his temper often got the best of him.

Dressing up as Ralph Kramden

You'll be a regular riot in a Ralph Kramden costume, Jackie Gleason's iconic NYC bus driver character from the '50s sitcom, "The Honeymooners".
