Rabbits are small mammals. They are found all over the world. There are a few species of rabbits along with pikas, hares, and jackrabbits. A rabbit hops. They have bent hind legs to push them along with longer front legs. The typical rabbit has a round bushy tail, tall ears, and a furry body. Rabbits tend to breed quickly, which can mean they soon get out of control. Airports are a nice habitat for rabbits because they can burrow into the ground and often the fences are circled by grass. Rabbits are vegetarians eating plants like lettuce, grass, and other greens. Rabbits make fairly nice pets. They are also used in food preparation such as stews or as another type of meat. There are several famous “animated” rabbits. For example Bugs Bunny, the rabbit for Trix ads, and Roger Rabbit.

Dressing up as Rabbit

The most common Rabbit costume is the Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunny costume is usually white, with a pink chest. It has feet and hand coverings for paws. There is also a helmet in shape of a rabbit’s head that covers the entire face. For children usually a headband with ears and some makeup will create the Easter Bunny look. Other bunny costumes may be more like Bugs Bunny or Roger Rabbit. There are many sizes for rabbit costumes, available in a range of prices for every budget.
