About Qui Gon Jinn

One of the most unconventional of the Jedi, Qui Gon Jinn was the kindly master to Obi Wan Kenobi and who helped free young Anakin Skywalker from the slave owner Watto. Impressed by the exceedingly high count of midichlorians (the mystical symbiotes which denote just how strong a Jedi is within the Force) in the boy, Qui Gon wished to have Anakin train as a Jedi. Despite opposition from Yoda, he took on the child as his Padawan. Qui Gon was killed shortly thereafter in battle against the Sith lord, Darth Maul.

Qui Gon received his Jedi training under yet another maverick knight, Count Dooku, who turned to the Dark Side of the Force and became Darth Tyranus.

Dressing up as Qui Gon Jinn

Dress as perhaps one of the most underrated Jedi who made his brief, yet important and memorable appearance in Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace. The officially licensed Qui Gon Jinn costume includes a long off-white tunic with brown detailing, as well as a brown, faux leather belt. Also included are brown pants with matching, dark brown faux leather boot tops. Put on a long brown wig and pull the top half back into a half-ponytail style. Add a green lightsaber to complete this maverick Jedi costume!
