About Puppet Master Blade

In the "Puppet Master" series of horror movies, the ringleader of sometimes good, sometimes evil (depending on the nature of their master) puppets is Blade. Dressed in a black trench coat and hat with white hair framing his skull-like face, the original puppetmaster, Andre Toulon modeled Blade's appearance after a Nazi named Krauss. While he may look evil, Blade was actually a container for the soul of Dr. Hess, a kind German doctor and scientist who sought revenge on the Nazis. Even while under the control of an evil Puppet Master, the strong-willed blade turned against the master. He gets his name from the blade attached to his hand and the hook-like appendage he has in place of his other hand.
