About Prisoner

A prisoner can be anyone that has committed an illegal act. A prisoner will be a person who has been convicted and placed in prison. You have several types of prisoners form a political prisoner, one who has been jailed for their beliefs or even a prisoner of war which is a soldier captured by the enemy and held. A prisoner is generally going to have a sentence to carry out before they are released. In some cases a prisoner may never be released. In the case of prisoners of war it usually takes some negotiation before the person can be returned home. It can take years for this to happen. Prisons of one variety or another have been around since humans began and therefore so have prisoners.

Dressing up as Prisoner

Dressing as a prisoner will depend on the image you want to create for your costume party. There have been several different costumes over the years such as an orange jumpsuit and shackles, to the white and black stripes of the older times. The white and black stripped costumes generally have shackles and a round hat to finish off the outfit. The costumes come in several sizes from children to adults.
