About Princess Leia

Princess Leia is a Star Wars character. The character was created first in books, but later adapted to the big screen in Star Wars number four. It was the first Star Wars movie to come out by Lucas. Carrie Fisher played Princess Leia in all three movies from the 70’s and 80’s. Princess Leia was a hit with the teens during the first movies because she was not only beautiful, but able to fight alongside her team as well. The romance between Han Solo and Princess Leia added further appeal to the tale. In the last movie the Return of the Jedi we also learn Prince Leia is Luke Skywalker’s twin sister.

Dressing up as Princess Leia

Princess Leia has several costumes in the movies. The most notable is the brass bikini worn in the third movie when she is rescuing Han Solo from Jabba the Hut. The Bikini is the most revealing outfit worn in the films and also the sexiest. For those wishing to show some skin this costume might be the best. The other costume she is seen in a great deal is the white robe. The white robe is not all that revealing. The robe is generally accompanied by the buns of hair on each side of her head. You can purchase these buns if your hair is not long enough to create them. Jasmine, the Little Mermaid, Snow White, and Cinderella are other costume ideas for princesses to choose from.
