About Princess Leia Slave

The diplomatic Princess and Senator in the Star Wars universe, In an attempt to rescue Han Solo, Princess Leia disguised herself as a bounty hunter to gain entry to the palace of the underworld crime lord, Jabba the Hutt. This didn't work out too well with Princess Leia being enslaved at the foot of Jabba's throne scantily clad in a metal bra and long skirt. Princess Leia wasn't in her slave garb for too long, strangling Jabba the Hutt with the same chain he had her on near his throne and Leia was then freed by her brother Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Lando Calrissian.

Dressing up as Princess Leia Slave

There are two distinct images of Princess Leia that stick in the minds of Star Wars fans. The first is usually Leia in her first appearance in the trilogy, dressed in white with her hair in two large, braided buns over her ears. The second memorable image is of Slave Princess Leia. Ladies -- and even their pets -- can dress up as the brave, intergalactic heroine of Star Wars with the Slave Princess Leia costume which features a brown, faux-leather breastplate with bustier styling and trimmed with gold "metal" in an intricate pattern. Attached is a long, brown skirt slit up both sides.

A simple chain like the one used by Leia in "Return of the Jedi" can be made by attaching a long chain to a thick strip of metallic fabric styled into a choker. You can use a simple strip of sticky-back velcro to secure the choker for the perfect Star Wars slavegirl accessory!
