In the DVD "Barbie and the Twelve Dancing Princesses" and its toyline, everyone's favorite blonde fashion doll plays Princess Genevieve, who has eleven other beautiful sisters who all love to dance. Genevieve is the 7th of the sisters and next to her family, loves to dance more than anything else. She and her sisters come under criticism from their father's advisors for not being "ladylike" and dancing around the palace and having fun. When their father, King Randolph brings in the (unbeknownst to him) evil Lady Rowena to teach his daughters to be more ladylike, Genevieve and her sisters must figure out a way to save their kingdom when the come across their deceased mother's magical kingdom of dance.
